Space is a premium in Chennai apartments, and balcony drying often isn't practical due to pigeons, wind, and Chennai's sudden rain showers. Ceiling cloth hangers (also called ceiling drying racks or laundry lifts) provide a clever space-saving solution — rods mounted near the ceiling that lower down for loading, then raise back up.
Our ceiling cloth hangers use a pulley-and-rope or motorized system to raise and lower a set of parallel drying rods. When fully raised, they are near the ceiling and completely out of the way. The warm air near the ceiling also speeds up drying. We install these in balconies, utility rooms, bathrooms, and open areas.
