What type of mesh is used for mosquito nets? +

We use 18 × 16 mesh fiberglass insect screen — 18 wires per inch horizontally and 16 vertically. This stops all mosquitoes and most smaller insects. Aluminum mesh is also available.

What is the difference between fixed and retractable mosquito nets? +

Fixed nets are permanently installed in the window frame and cannot be retracted. Retractable (roll-up) nets can be rolled back when the window is closed, and roll out when the window is open.

Can mosquito nets be installed on sliding windows? +

Yes. We have specific designs for sliding windows — typically a sliding mosquito net that moves alongside the window pane, allowing full access to any portion of the window.

Do mosquito nets reduce wind and ventilation? +

No. The mesh is fine enough to block insects but the open area of the mesh is approximately 65–70% of the total area, allowing excellent air circulation.

How do I clean mosquito net mesh? +

Simply wipe with a damp cloth or use a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, the mesh frame can be removed and washed with water. No special cleaning required.
